Home Redefined is a small team. There is no design department and no call centre. The people who choose the finishes are the same people who answer your email about a wobbly handle.
How the work is split
Product and design
Decides which finishes get made, reviews samples, and signs off on production. This is the part of the job that involves living with a tray on a coffee table for three weeks before deciding it is good enough to sell.
Sourcing and quality
Works with our manufacturing partners on materials, hardware and tolerances, and runs the pre shipment checks. Responsible for the fact that our handles are through fixed rather than glued.
Fulfillment
Manages stock across our own store, Amazon and Walmart, and keeps the presentation boxes and packing consistent no matter where you ordered from.
Customer care
Handles every message that comes through the contact form, plus marketplace messages. Replacements are approved here, without a script.
